Description of Construction Laborer Position:

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

• Assist foremen with all tasks as needed, follow instructions, and perform duties as assigned.

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Ability to follow instructions, maintain good housekeeping around the site.

• Ability to work nights if required.

• Handle and transport materials and equipment

• Use power tools and machinery when needed

• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures

• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions

• Must be willing to travel to all job sites with valid driver’s license/dependable transportation

• Major attributes of this position are reliability, punctuality (must show up on time) and professionalism; ability to work overtime as needed

 

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• OSHA 10 certified

• DOT Medical card

• Reliable and available to work 40 hours a week

• Can lift at least 50 lbs.

• Works well in a team

• Willingness to learn
